Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans claims Lil Wayne slid into her DMs and flew her out to Los Angeles for a date — and although things didn’t work out, she only had nice things to say about the rapper.
The MTV alum, 33, first shared the story in a recent Instagram livestream, saying, “I met him [Wayne] in his personal studio, for real. You guys are the first ones I’m telling,” per Page Six.
According to the outlet, Evans held up her photo to the camera to show that the rapper, 42, had written in one message: “Be mine.”
“Say no more King. Where and when?” she apparently wrote back, before Wayne (born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) asked for her phone number. “You made my day tho…not going to lie. Thanks for the smile.”

Per Page Six, Evans claimed that the “Annihilate” rapper “flew me out, and I met him, and things were cool.”
“Did I hook up with him? No. Did he want to? Yes, but I wanted to go out to dinner and get to know each other first,” she added, before sharing that Wayne eventually paid for her to fly home. “So, that was crazy.”
In a TikTok shared on Monday, Sept. 8, Evans clapped back at social media users who doubted her claims and shared further details about the pair’s interaction.
“This seriously did happen,” she insisted. “I’m not going to say too much about the situation because, I mean, he didn’t have me sign an NDA and, at first, I didn’t believe it was him until he FaceTimed me.”
“We texted a lot, had great conversation before I even went out there,” she continued. “He’s really respectful, really nice.”
Evans also shared that the rapper did not know her from Teen Mom, but saw her pictures on social media and decided to reach out there.
“No hard feelings between me and him,” she said in the TikTok. “It was a crazy story. I figured since it’s been a few months, I would share it with you guys.”
Reps for both Evans and Wayne did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Wayne was most recently linked to model Denise Bidot, though the pair split in May and she later accused him of physical abuse. They made their relationship public in the summer of 2020, after Wayne called off his engagement to model La’Tecia Thomas.
The record label executive is a father to four kids: daughter Reginae and sons Dwayne, Kameron and Neal, whom he shares with Antonia “Toya” Johnson, Sarah Vivan, Lauren London and Nivea, respectively.
Evans, meanwhile, most recently split from former husband David Eason in March 2024 after six years together. A rep for Evans also confirmed the separation to PEOPLE. The pair share daughter Ensley, 8, and Evans is also mother to sons Jace, 16, and Kaiser, 11, from previous relationships.
