Wife of Chiefs Owner Honors Travis Kelce in Special Birthday Message to Taylor Swift
Two very important things were happening in the Kansas City Chiefs world on Friday night.
The team enjoyed its annual Christmas Party where star tight end Travis Kelce was being honored as the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year selection. At the same time, his girlfriend and 14-time Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift was celebrating her 35th birthday.
Tavia Hunt, the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, found a way to celebrate both Kelce and Swift with her post on Instagram on Friday night.
“At the Chiefs Christmas party, we celebrated the joy of the season and the bond of our football family. We’re so grateful for this incredible organization and the amazing people work tirelessly towards excellence and those who make everything possible. Special thanks to Stephanie Judah and Samantha Angel and our irreplaceable partner HyVee for a beautiful party!” Hunt said about the Christmas party before getting to her message for Kelce and Swift.
“Congratulations to Travis Kelce on being the Chiefs’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, and a very happy birthday to @TaylorSwift! Any guesses what we asked Santa for this year?” she added in the caption.
Travis reportedly spent nearly $175,000 on Swift’s birthday gifts, but has something even more “unique” planned for Christmas.
“Travis and Taylor love birthdays. They also love Christmas, and they are so looking forward to that,” the source told the U.S. Sun. “Travis kept some more unique presents in his sleeve for Christmas time, he loves to surprise Taylor and get her some very nice gifts.”
Kelce and the Chiefs will be busy facing off against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon.
