On a bittersweet day, General Hospital’s Kristina Wagner remembers her late son and admits, “Grief is a solitary issue that I can’t face alone.” #GH
Those who have lost a loved one most likely have their own way of honoring them during special times of the year. Whether it be on the day they passed, their heavenly birthdays, anniversaries… Whatever the case may be, remembering them in such a way helps to keep their memories alive. General Hospital’s Kristina Wagner (Felicia) shared a heartfelt tribute to her son Harrison during her “grief journey.”
“Opening birthday presents was a thing!” Wagner posted on her official Instagram, along with two very sweet photos of Harrison, who unexpectedly passed away in June of 2022. “It was always entertaining to watch Harrison and hear what he would say next.” December 1 marked Harrison’s 31st birthday and of posting this “type of ritual,” the actress continued, “I think rituals are essential for healing. Grief is a solitary issue that I can’t face alone. I know I have made several posts about my grief journey with Harrison for three years but somehow it keeps him present. It’s one of my many rituals.”

Wagner then recalled how her son, who she shares with The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jack Wagner (ex-Nick, ex-Frisco), would love the attention, which is what she loved about the “forever social butterfly.” She wished her boy a “Happy Birthday” then added, “I know, with certainty, you are always with me” and included a quote from English author and poet Eden Phillpotts that states, “The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.”
Many of Wagner’s castmates rushed to the comments to show their support, including Laura Wright (Carly), who shared, “Big love to you.” Beyond the Gates’ Jon Lindstrom (Joey), who will be bringing Kevin back to Port Charles, added, “Mad love to you, Kristina,” as Finola Hughes (Anna) expressed, “Thank you for keeping him present for all of us. Happy Birthday, Harrison.”
