GH Spoilers September 16: Nina Snaps, News Rocks Gio and Emma

In addition to Nina snapping and Gio and Emma getting distressing news, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, will also focus on Molly confiding in Elizabeth. Is Molly wanting to compare notes about where Ric is? Did he really go on a digital detox?

Nina Snaps

According to the teasers, Nina (Cynthia Watros) snaps. The Crimson owner reaching the end of her rope isn’t a shocking development. The question is, what finally triggers this reaction? She already knows that Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) turning to Drew (Cameron Mathison) again.

Plus, Jacinda (Paige Herschell), the escort, is back in Port Charles, and she’s demanding money. Then there’s the matter of whether or not Nina actually shot Drew. The cops already know that she lied when she gave Willow an alibi. Needless to say, Nina snapping can’t be good for anyone, especially her.

Gio and Emma Get Bad News

Meanwhile, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) get distressing news. Please, don’t let this be bad news about Outback. The most adorable dog in the world is missing, and they must fear that Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) has the floppy-eared pup. Emma is sure that Dalton is testing on animals for his lab experiments.

Is that what’s going on here? What do Emma and Gio learn?

Comparing Notes

On Tuesday, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) confides in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), someone Molly would rather see her dad with than Ava (Maura West). Molly and Elizabeth are basically the only two people in town who would notice and care about a missing Ric (Rick Hearst). They both got shady emails from Ric telling them he left town and is on a digital detox.

There’s no way Molly buys that story or whatever Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Ava wrote pretending to be Ric. Molly might tell Elizabeth she’s worried about her dad, which might get Elizabeth’s Spidey senses tingling. Are these two about to team up to figure out the truth behind Ric’s sudden disappearance?

Molly’s sister knows the truth, which might be why the teasers suggest that Kristina encourages Cody (Josh Kelly). Now that her Cody/Ava scheme blew up and Ric is otherwise indisposed in Alexis’s basement, maybe Kristina thinks she needs to distract Molly from being curious about where her dad is. Cody is the perfect person to provide a distraction. After all, the feelings are already there.

Finally, Lucas (Van Hansis) opens up to Ava. Lucas recently admitted he enjoys living with Ava so much that he hasn’t looked for his own place. When he suddenly decides to open up to his aunt, what does he reveal? Is this about his relationship with Marco (Adrian Anchondo) or something more dramatic?
