An Australian woman has revealed that she spurned Travis Kelce’s romantic advances just months before he got together with Taylor Swift.

‎The pop icon and the NFL star, both 35, have been dating for two years. On Tuesday, they officially revealed their marriage news with a romantic engagement photoshoot showing Travis proposing in a rose garden.

‎In the wake of the big news, Australian entrepreneur Michelle Battersby admitted to a near-dalliance with Taylor’s fiancé.

‎Speaking to News Corp, Michelle, who is behind women-centric creator app Sunroom and motherhood app Peanut, revealed that she was taken aback when she bumped into Travis at a Dom Dollar concert in the US.

‎She said that she was approached by Travis at the show, and found his advances ‘weird.’
‎
‎’I was like: “Who is this guy? Why does he have an entourage? This guy’s a weirdo,’” she said.

‎’He came up to me and was hitting on me. There’s only so long you can chat to a random dude who looks like he might be someone. Not knowing who he was, I was like: “Why does this white guy think he’s so swaggy?” I just kind of palmed him off.’

‎Michelle, who was attending the concert with her partner Bill Meakes, said she only realised who Travis was months later when Travis and Taylor went public with their relationship.

‎The Grammy winner also revealed her mammoth diamond engagement ring in the post. The stunning band is an Old Mine Brilliant Cut and appears to be from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewellery, and it is worth an estimated $675,000 to $1 million (USD).
