OMG! Travis Kelce returns home to Enjoy Taylor Swiftâs Cooking for him after Chiefs practice
Chiefs star Travis Kelce was seen returning to his newly purchased Kansas City mansion Wednesday afternoon, where he reunited with his girlfriend, music sensation Taylor Swift.
This sighting comes after Kelceâs practice session with his team at a facility near Arrowhead Stadium, in preparation for their upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kelce, 34, arrived at his home driving his classic 1970 Chevelle convertible, adding a nostalgic touch to his afternoon.
Meanwhile, Swift, who reportedly arrived in Kansas City on Tuesday after missing Sunday nightâs game due to her busy schedule, was waiting for him at the mansion. Sources close to the couple say they make it a point to spend time together outside of their hectic professional lives.
Kelce will continue training with his teammates throughout the week, gearing up for Sundayâs game, but plans to unwind with Swift over dinner each evening. Friends close to the couple say that despite his grueling workout schedule, Kelce and Swift prioritize quality time, making their relationship a joyful part of his downtime.
Earlier in the day, Kelce addressed concerns about his performance this season on his popular âNew Heightsâ podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. Despite the Chiefsâ strong 3-0 start, some pundits have criticized Kelceâs seemingly slow start to the season. So far, the tight end has just eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns through three games, which is a far cry from his usual dominant performances.
On the podcast, Kelce downplayed the criticism, saying, âIâve had a lot of catches in this league, man. I donât worry about catches and yards and all that stuff. Iâm most happy when the ball is coming my way â I mean, who wouldnât be happy? But itâs all about execution and winning games. Thatâs the goal.â
Kelce acknowledged a key drop during a critical moment in the Chiefsâ recent game, but he vowed to stay focused on helping his team win. âI think everyone saw me drop the ball in the fourth and third quarters. I was just trying to do too much before putting the ball away. The most important thing for me is to make plays in those big moments.â
Kelce also pointed out how opposing defenses have limited his opportunities on the field, but he refuses to let that become an excuse. âWith the way defenses are playing us right now, I donât get a lot of opportunities to make plays, but Iâm not going to use that as an excuse. Moving forward, Iâm still trying to help the team in any way I can.â
The Chiefs will take on their AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. Kelce hopes to put the rumors of his âslow startâ to rest with a standout performance â and with Swift cheering him on from the stands, fans are expecting a dynamic showing.
Both the Chiefs and Kelce are looking forward to continuing their march towards a potential third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, with their star tight end ready to break out and lead the team once again.
