Kristin Cabot resigns from Astronomer more than a week after Coldplay kiss cam scandal
Astronomer HR mistress Kristin Cabot resigned Thursday from the tech company more than a week after she was caught on camera canoodling with CEO Andy Byron on a Coldplay concert “kiss cam.”
“I can confirm that Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer. She has resigned,” a rep from the New York firm told The Post. TMZ was first to report her departure.
Byron, who was caught cozying up to Cabot at the show outside Boston last Wednesday, was forced to resign from the AI company over the weekend after the caught-on-camera cheating scandal exploded into a social media frenzy.

“Oh, what?” frontman Chris Martin said with confusion after catching the buzzworthy blunder.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
The snafu made headlines, inspired thousands of memes, and quickly found itself the butt of many a joke, with famous figures and people across the globe recreating the mortifying moment at sporting events and online.
Further footage caught the secret lovers repeatedly smooching, embracing and singing to each other before their extramarital rendezvous was exposed at the concert.

The silhouetted duo were also seen laughing and swaying arm-in-arm to Coldplay’s hit song “Yellow.”
They were swiftly placed on leave after the viral fiasco, with the company launching a formal investigation into the alleged affair.
Neither Byron nor Cabot, who are both married to other people, have spoken out yet about the sordid scandal.
Cabot is reportedly married to Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, with whom she shares a $2.2 million, two-story, four-bedroom, New England-style home that they purchased together in February, according to property records obtained by The Post.
Meanwhile, Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron and they share two children.
Brooklynite Pete DeJoy, Astronomer’s co-founder, was tapped over the weekend to head the company as its new interim CEO — later embracing the viral faux pas and taking the opportunity to plug the startup firm.

“The spotlight has been unusual and surreal for our team, and while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name,” DeJoy, who previously served as the company’s chief product officer, said in a LinkedIn post Monday.
“The events of the past few days have received a level of media attention that few companies — let alone startups in our small corner of the data and AI world — ever encounter. At Astronomer we have never shied away from challenges.”
