The internet just can’t chill at times. Taylor Rooks learned that back in 2024, when a clip from the GQ Creativity Awards went viral for all the wrong reasons. The Thursday Night Football reporter looked amazing in a forest-green, jewel-covered gown, but social media exploded after fans thought they saw more than they really did.
Now, Rooks is finally speaking about it. Sitting with Angel Reese on her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, the Amazon Prime Video host couldn’t help but laugh at how wild things got after that night.
“I was shocked that it blew up,” Rooks told Reese. “Everyone was like, ‘Oh my God, look at Taylor’s nipples.’ And I’m like, do they think my hair is that big? I wasn’t showing anything. I wore pasties because the dress was a little sheer.”

Rooks Keeps It Real
Rooks just mentioned her feelings about how strange it felt to trend for something so ridiculous. “It logged onto the internet, and suddenly I was trending all day,” she said. “It was crazy.” She shrugged it off with her signature humor, but the moment showed just how quickly social media can twist an innocent fashion moment into a viral topic.
Fast-forward to this week, and Rooks is back in the headlines, but this time for all the right reasons. She grabbed enough attention again at MetLife Stadium during the Giants-Eagles game. Fans couldn’t stop talking about her sideline look, and even the NFL on Prime account joined in, posting, “Taylor Rooks is a VIBE.”
Meanwhile, Angel Reese used the same podcast episode to open up about her own complicated relationship with the media. The WNBA star admitted that talking to reporters after games often terrifies her because they twist her words easily. “Even before the game, I’m scared of what they’ll ask,” Reese said. “I’d rather take the fine sometimes than deal with it.”
“Woulda Been A Nasty Football Player”: Paige Bueckers Goes Viral After Tossing Bombs With Just The Flick Of Her Wrist At Cowboys Game [VIDEO]
Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers is truly multi-talented.
The guard, who just completed her rookie season after being picked No. 1 overall this year, is a formidable scorer on the hardwood and can definitely handle the rock. But it appears she would have been just as great on the field.
Bueckers attended the Cowboys game against the Commanders on Sunday and had a wholesome interaction with fans, signing autographs and tossing passes.
She was seen throwing bombs from the stands, making it look easy.
“She wasn’t lying when she said god knew to make her a woman because she woulda been a nasty football player😮💨🥵,” a post read.
“She throws the deep ball better than anyone on the Jets,” someone commented.
It was a good day for the Cowboys as they secured second place in the NFC East to close out their Week 7, beating their rivals 44-22 and watching the Giants surrender a 19-0 fourth-quarter lead to lose to the Broncos.
The Eagles, however, maintain control of the division, returning to winning ways against the Vikings after two straight losses in Weeks 5 and 6.
Paige Bueckers Is Coming Off An Ingredible First Season
Paige Bueckers had a fantastic first season in the WNBA, which ended in a Rookie of the Year selection that came with a party.
The former UConn star started 36 games for Dallas, but the eam finished the season with a 10-34 record, tying the worst in the league.
She was a bright spot on an otherwise struggling team, ending the campaign with averages of 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game.
Bueckers was also the highest-scoring rookie with 692 total points and 194 assists, receiving 70 of 72 first-place votes for the ROY award and becoming the second-ever rookie to make the All-WNBA Second Team, following Caitlin Clark.
