Prince Harry is reportedly considering legal action against royal biographer Angela Levin following a series of explosive claims she made in a recent interview and upcoming book that allegedly exposes deeply personal details about the Duke of Sussex’s life.
The controversy erupted earlier this week when Levin, known for her previous books on the royal family, made a number of controversial remarks during a televised interview promoting her latest work, “Royal Reckonings: The Fall of the House of Windsor”. In the segment, she suggested that Harry was “struggling emotionally” and claimed he had privately expressed regret about parts of his life in California, including his relationship with the Royal Family and the pressures of fame outside the UK.
What shocked viewers most, however, was Levin’s suggestion that Harry may be reconsidering his royal exit altogether—a claim that his team quickly and firmly denied.
Shortly after the interview aired, a representative for Prince Harry issued a strongly worded statement, saying:
“The Duke of Sussex has not authorized any conversations with Ms. Levin and considers her claims to be not only false but deeply invasive. He will explore all legal options to protect his privacy and reputation.”
Sources close to Harry say he is “furious” over the allegations and feels Levin has crossed a serious line. The same insider added, “Harry has worked hard to build a life outside of the Royal Family, and having someone distort that narrative for profit is unacceptable.”
Angela Levin, who previously wrote a biography on Harry in 2018 before his royal exit, defended her new revelations, insisting they are based on “credible sources” and “years of close observation.” She has so far refused to retract any statements, saying in a radio appearance, “This is a public figure whose decisions have global impact. But the Duke isn’t having it. While the success of such legal action remains uncertain, it reflects Prince Harry’s continued battle with the media and biographers who, in his view, blur the line between free speech and character assassination.
