General Hospital’s Joss and Vaughn Trauma Bond Into a New Relationship
Joss and Vaughn share an even deeper connection on General Hospital.

General Hospital just confirmed a new pairing we saw coming a mile away. It was only a matter of time before Joss and Vaughn developed feelings for one another. Friday’s cliffhanger had viewers wondering who Joss shot, and we learned it was the spy.
Joss has flashbacks
Shooting Cyrus (Jeff Kober) wasn’t easy for Joss (Eden McCoy), but she could pull herself together with help from Brennan (Chris L. McKenna). That led to where she is now, with Vaughn as her handler within the WSB.
Joss wasn’t the same after the incident in the hotel room, and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) knew it. While in the shower (fully clothed), Joss was having flashbacks from the night she shot Cyrus. She helped Vaughn dispose of the spy’s body, which only made things worse.
Vaughn checked on her as she sat in the shower, the water pouring over her. He climbed in beside her, showing her empathy and care. This is likely where the GH writers have planned to go since the beginning.
Will trauma bonding unite Vaughn and Joss on GH?
From where we sit, it seems like the shower scene between Joss and Vaughn is pivotal moving forward. There has been talk about the two being paired together, and their utter disdain for each other only added fuel to the fire. And while seeing them interact like newlyweds was cute, the feelings seemed to be more than that.
Joss isn’t as callous as she should be in her role at the WSB. Killing isn’t in her nature, and despite having done it twice now, she’s not okay.
Vaughn holding her and sitting beside her seemingly hints that the two will be trauma-bonded. This could bridge the gap between them, leading to the romance we knew was coming.
What happens next remains to be seen, but a Joss and Vaughn pairing wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen on GH.
