GH Spoilers August 5: Michael Voices His Doubts — Willow Extends an Olive Branch

On the Next GH, Michael shares his suspicions. Willow tries to make amends. Sidwell attempts to deter Tracy.

In addition to Michael sharing his suspicions, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, will also focus on Willow trying to make amends. Meanwhile, Carly and Lucas have a frank discussion.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is currently dealing with the fact that she cannot see her kids. She has to get to the October visitation hearing to find out how that will shake out, and, understandably, she’s not happy about waiting that long. But even though she can’t see it, her recent behavior has been erratic and unpredictable, and for that, Michael (Rory Gibson) doesn’t want her to be caring for their kids.

But when Michael shares his suspicions, there’s a chance that things for Willow might go from bad to worse. That is, if those suspicions are about the person who targeted Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy and made Sasha think she was going crazy. Is that what Michael’s sharing on Tuesday?

Meanwhile, Willow tries to make amends. We think the emphasis here is on “tries,” which means she may not be successful. However, she will do anything to see her kids. Plus, she vowed she would never forget how Michael turned her away after she begged to see Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko). Is the person she’s trying to make amends with someone who could help with her quest to get her kids back? Or does she try again with Michael?

Tension-Filled Sibling Sit-Down
Carly (Laura Wright) and Lucas (Van Hansis) need to have a sit-down to hash out their recent issues. Tuesday seems to be that day. Lucas can no longer understand how Carly could love or be loyal to a man like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who had Marcos kidnapped and held hostage. Carly knows that Lucas needs to tread carefully, and one of the biggest rules is ‘don’t go to cops.’ Each conversation they’ve had has escalated the tension between them. Are they ready to agree to disagree when it comes to Sonny?

Speaking of Sonny, he and Jason (Steve Burton) have their own sit-down. If you checked out GH’s weekly video preview, then you know a little bit about one of the topics of discussion. When Jason confides in Sonny, he tells his friend that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is alive. He’ll undoubtedly tell him that he’s about to go after her and that this trip will take him to Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Finally, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has said he will withdraw from supporting the anti-Sonny/Measure C campaign. Meanwhile, Tracy (Jane Elliot) said she would contribute financial support in his absence. So why is Jenz suddenly attempting to deter Tracy? She really wants to get Sonny out of Port Charles. Maybe Sidwell has another plan.
