The distance between the women prompted rumors claiming the singer stayed away from her new friend because the latter recently showed support for Donald Trump. Taylor Swift And Brittany Mahomes Had A Very Different Reason For Sitting Apart Swift is known to support the Democratic party and is expected to publicly back Kamala Harris soon. However, a source close to the two women has pushed back on the notion that their decision to sit apart had something to do with politics. “They are very good friends and they were so excited to go to the game, but they had different plans as it happens sometimes,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.
