“Patrick Mahomes is believed to have suffered a high ankle spring in yesterday’s game,” NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport said early Monday morning. “Obviously, exits the game. His body is just built differently. I know people say it, but it actually is. So, we will see what his status is. He has a Saturday game, then a Christmas game does complicate things.”

Well, shortly after the initial report, Rapoport was able to confirm the status of Mahomes following his report that the QBs testing did show a high ankle sprain, something he’s dealt with in recent years:
