Angel Reese Sends Strong Two-Word Message to Simone Biles

U.S. gymnast Simone Biles was trending on Thursday night for her appearance at the Chicago Bulls game alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens. The couple is in town ahead of Sunday’s NFL game between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots at Soldier Field.

Owens plays safety for the Bears, and Biles is often in attendance to cheer on her husband. The same goes for Owens when his wife is starring in her sport. He  supported Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics when she added gold medals in the individual all-around, team all-around and vault events.

One of the most accomplished athletes of all time, Biles frequently receives support and praise from around the sports world. This includes a recent comment from Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who sent a two-word message to the 11-time Olympic medalist on Instagram.

“FACE EATS,” Reese commented under a picture of Biles.

In her first WNBA season, Reese averaged 13.6 points and a league-best 13.1 rebounds in 34 appearances for the Sky. She set the WNBA’s single-season rookie double-double record, Reese finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

A star since her time at LSU, Reese’s popularity extends beyond women’s basketball. The 6-foot-3 forward has public friendships with many major celebrities, and this Instagram comment was very complimentary from Reese.
