JASMIN, FILHA HÚNGARA DE NEYMAR, CHEGA AO BRASIL PARA VER O PAI?

Neymar wasted little time giving his answer when asked to name the better player out of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The Brazilian was taking part in a winner stays on style game shared on social media, where he had to choose between some of the best players of the modern era.

Two former Premier League stars were first up, as Dutch legend Arjen Robben was pitted against Thierry Henry, with Neymar selecting the Frenchman.

Neymar was then asked to select between Henry and the man who currently sits behind him in France’s all-time international scoring charts, Kylian Mbappe.

Without hesitation Neymar selected Mbappe, and he went on to favour the new Real Madrid signing over the likes of Luis Figo and Franck Ribery.

Asked whether he would put former Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele above Mbappe, Neymar gave an exacerbated look before replying: ‘Obviously Mbappe.’

Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne came next and Neymar hesitated before once again choosing Mbappe and sticking with him against another City star in Jack Grealish.

It took Brazilian legend Ronaldinho for Neymar to choose against Mbappe, before he gave Cristiano Ronaldo the nod over his compatriot after an extended period of deliberation.

However, there would be no such hesitation when it came down to the final questions as he selected Lionel Messi over Ronaldo before choosing the Argentine over himself as his greatest player.

During their time together in Barcelona, Neymar, Messi and Luis Suarez formed an all-conquering partnership that claimed two league titles, a Champions League and numerous individual awards.

The Brazilian would depart Catalonia in 2017 to join PSG on a world-record deal and would later be joined at the Parc des Princes by Messi.

However, despite the superstar pair enjoying continued domestic success with Les Parisiens, they were unable to secure a European title.

Neymar joined Al Hilal in August 2023, before suffering a anterior cruciate ligament injury on international duty that prematurely ended his maiden campaign with the Saudi Pro League side.

Neymar has reportedly suffered a setback in his long-waited return for Al-Hilal.

The Brazilian called an end to his time in European football last summer after joining the Saudi Pro League in a stunning £78million move.

However, his hopes of making a significant impact for his new side were ruined when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament while on international duty in October of last year.

It proved to be a season-ending injury with the 32-year-old also missing out on the Copa America over the summer.

Neymar has been regularly posting images of and clips of himself stepping up his recovery, leading fans to believe a return is imminent.

The claims were made by the X account @ithamer_7, which shared videos of the former Barcelona and PSG man undergoing tests.

The physiotherapist that uploaded the clip said that ‘Neymar’s lack of stability and confidence during jump exercises was apparent, particularly in his knee, which showed signs of weakness during landings.’

Having spent four years in Spain with Barcelona, Neymar then stayed in Paris for six seasons where he scored 118 goals and recorded 77 assists across 173 games.

He made five appearances for Al-Hilal prior to his injury, contributing one goal and three assists.
