Jordan Chiles Reflects on Overwhelming Support Post-Olympics During ‘Gold Over America Tour’

Los Angeles – Former Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles has recently opened up about her exhilarating experience on the ‘Gold Over America Tour’ in Los Angeles, where she performed at the vast Crypto arena to a potentially sold-out crowd. The tour has been a significant shift from the high-pressure environment of the Olympics, focusing more on performance art than competitive scoring, which Chiles finds both liberating and enjoyable.

“The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing,” Chiles said. “It’s such an honor to perform in such a beautiful arena. There’s no competition, just pure performance. It feels like a pop concert mixed with gymnastics.” This new format has allowed Chiles and her teammates to engage with their routines in a more creative and less structured way, something she finds refreshing.

For the first time, the tour also features male gymnasts, which adds a new dimension to the performances. “Having both energies from the men and women on stage brings a whole new perspective to what we do. It’s really cool seeing that blend of strength and glam on one big show,” Chiles commented about the inclusion of male gymnasts.

Aside from the tour, Chiles had a busy schedule attending New York Fashion Week and the VMAs. “It’s been a whirlwind of events, but standing on that VMA stage was something I’ve dreamed of since I was little,” she shared. Despite the hectic schedule, the support from her fans and the gymnastic community has kept her motivated and grateful.

Chiles also highlighted the support she’s received from her teammates and fans alike, which has been crucial during her medal appeal process following the Olympics. “The love and support from everyone have been overwhelming. It’s made every moment since the Olympics special and has really shown me how much we all support each other in this sport,” she explained.

As the tour continues, Jordan Chiles looks forward to each performance, cherishing the unconditional support from the audience and her peers, which she says fuels her passion for gymnastics and performing alike.
