I got a couple of brothers in the league, and my wife played soccer,” Holiday said. That’s how he got to experience the event, as a fan and an athlete. “But to experience it with my kids, to take my daughter to see Simone Biles, to go see track and field, to experience the Eiffel Tower with my parents. And, my family was as those are memories that, they just never go away.”
As mentioned by Holiday, sports runs in his family. His wife, Lauren, is a former USWNT soccer star with two Olympic gold medals to her name. His brothers, Justin and Aaron Holiday also shared the court with the two-time NBA champion. During the Paris Olympics, the USA Basketball men’s team attended the women’s gymnastics individual all-around final to watch Simone Biles and Suni Lee compete. Stephen Curry, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Jrue Holiday were present in the stands to cheer on their compatriots on the track. Holiday took his daughter, Tyler, along and surely, the performance of the Olympians left a lasting impression on the young one.
