The Kansas City Chiefs’ QB revealed which team brings out his most competitive side
Patrick Mahomes
The new NFL season is about to begin and the Kansas City Chiefs are more than ready to defend the title they won last season. All eyes are on quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who already seems like he will do everything in his power to win more Super Bowl rings than Tom Brady. If he wants to accomplish that, Patrick Mahomes will need to win multiple rings but he’s already won three of them. He is still a long way from Tom Brady’s 7 rings but staying motivated will be key in order to accomplish that. As motivation, playing against certain NFL teams is one of hte best ways for Patrick to stay motivated. Just on Tuesday, he was asked about the rival he likes to face the most and his response will surprise a few.
For Tom Brady, the favorite teams to play against were many but he always relished a chance to play against Peyton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts. Probably a team he never wanted to face was the New York Giants, when Eli Manning was around. But Patrick Mahomes right now doesn’t seem to have a team he doesn’t like to play against. However, his favorite team to play against will surprise more than one. Here’s what he said when asked this question: “I’m always really excited to play the Raiders. It’s always a great game. We always have a fun time when were able to go against each other.”
Mahomes won’t have to wait much longer to face the Las Vegas Raiders, the NFL season is about to start. The goal for him is always to win the third consecuritve Super Bowl. Every single time these two division rivals face each other, things can get pretty intense. The Raiders have managed to upset the Kansas City Chiefs, once in 2023 when winning the game was crucial for Mahomes and company. After that loss, the Chiefs were eliminated from the contention of the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Mahomes had to play an away games in the playoffs for the first time in his career after that. You could say he has it against the Raiders.
