On Monday during the Los Angeles Lakers’ media day, LeBron James outed his wife Savannah James and revealed that she recently started playing video games because of their son, Bronny.

According to LeBron, his wife had never played a video game before. However, he caught her hopping into NBA 2K25 where Bronny is already part of the Lakers. Mrs. James proceeded to play her son in the game, a moment that LeBron found “super cool.”

“I have a video on my phone of Savannah playing NBA 2K,” LeBron said hours before uploading the video on Instagram for everyone to see.

“She does not play video games, but she went in practice mode and played with her son… She was playing with Bronny. I said, ‘Okay, this is what it takes to get you on the video games.’ It was just super cool.”

Sure enough, Savannah James has no issue with LeBron James revealing her latest venture into playing video games. In fact, it looks like she’s happy that it’s finally out.

On her Instagram Stories, she shared LeBron’s video showing her playing NBA 2K and captioned it with controller and winking face emojis.

It will definitely be great to see LeBron and Savannah play a game of NBA 2K. Maybe they can get Bronny and the whole family involved in a mini-tournament style.

Having said that, though, it’s safe to expect that fans will get to see more video game play and moments from the Jameses with Savannah getting into it as well.
