Over three-dozen-time Olympic and World Championship medal-winning gymnast Simone Biles will join Academy Award winners, Broadway stars, country music icons and World Series champions as award presenters at 2024’s 58th Country Music Association Awards on Wed. Nov. 20 at Bridgestone Arena.

 

The event, hosted by CMA Entertainers of the Year Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson, plus Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, broadcasts live on ABC from 8-11 p.m. ET and will be available the next day on Hulu.

Athletes including Biles and 2020 NL MVP, two-time World Series champion and first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Freddie Freeman and actors and actresses, including Academy Award-winner Billy Bob Thornton, and singer-songwriter and music producer Mark Collie, Emmy-nominated FX drama “The Old Man” performer Jeff Bridges, award-winning actor and ABC drama “Doctor Odyssey” star Don Johnson and star of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Taylor Frankie Paul will be present at the event.

 

As well, Broadway actress and recording artist Katharine McPhee, Broadway actor and star of ABC hit series “High Potential,” Daniel Sunjata, plus media personalities including “Sundae Conversation” host Caleb Pressley and tractor aficionado, farming and history enthusiast Jackson Laux will present awards.

 

Country legends Clint Black and The Oak Ridge Boys, modern, CMA-winning acts Jordan Davis, Little Big Town and Carly Pearce and previous and current nominees Dustin Lynch, Nate Smith and Mitchell Tenpenny are also scheduled as award presenters.

Wallen’s seven nominations include four for his duet with country newcomer Post Malone for “I Had Some Help.” Entertainer of the Year will be contested between 2021 and 2022’s winner, Luke Combs; 2023’s winner, Wilson; and first-time nominee Jelly Roll against Stapleton and Wallen. Wilson was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the Patrick Tracy-directed video for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”
