Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, form one of the most popular power couples in sports today. These two have been together for many years now, and throughout their union, they have worked hard to not only maintain a harmonious family relationship but also, in building their brand as both individuals and as a couple.
Steph and Ayesha are well aware of the position they have found themselves in as well as the influence they have on the fans. They are not putting this to waste. Through the years, they’ve been very active in terms of giving back to the community as a way of taking advantage of their platform.
There is perhaps no bigger manifestation of the same than their Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation. It is a non-profit that was founded in 2019 and aims to address the needs of kids in the Currys’ adopted hometown of Oakland.
On Monday, the foundation announced an “incredible milestone” after completing its 15th schoolyard transformation at REACH Academy and Cox Academy. The foundation made the announcement via Instagram alongside Steph and Ayesha Curry.
As the post indicates, Eat. Play. Learn. is now more than halfway through its vision of transforming 25 schoolyards by 2026.
“As part of our vision to transform the school experience for a generation of Oakland students, Eat. Learn. Play. has been working to ensure all Oakland elementary and middle school students have access to the resources, support, and spaces for kids to thrive and have great childhoods,” a post from their website read.
“Our work includes remodeling more than 25 public elementary schoolyards throughout Oakland by the end of 2026 to be the dream places for kids to play, learn, and spend time with their classmates.”
Congratulations are in order for the couple, who are clearly exerting a significant effort through their foundation to make sure that they are able to share their blessings with the less fortunate.
