The road to ring number five starts soon for the one and only Stephen Curry, and it’ll be his first campaign without his long-time running-mate Klay Thompson. Regardless of the personnel change, Golden State’s chances at another title revolves around Steph, an all-mighty being in the basketball universe that has own gravitational pull. The word “superstar” hasn’t sufficed as a proper description of the GOAT shooter for years.
As alluded to in earlier announcements, the Curry 12 colorways are dictated by Stephen’s otherworldly existence, with each representing an element of outer space. The earlier “Curry Camp” started it off with a colorful pattern that depicted the galaxy and its wide-ranging spectrum of ethereal shades. On October 18th, Curry Brand will follow-up with the “Gravity” colorway — a clean grey/black/neon edition of the Curry 12 that features a speckling of space dust and particles on the midsole.
Curry Brand also reveals two more colorways in the “Wardell Mode” in a serious black/white colorway that reminds us of those moments where Steph, possessed by his alter-ego, goes on an absolute barrage of threes. A release is expected this Holiday 2024 season for $140.
Finally, the “Shooting Star” edition sees a fractal pattern on the midsole and heel-clip in various shades of grey and black. A release is expected this Holiday 2024 season for $140.
