America’s Got Talent season 19 has officially come to an end, and let’s all congratulate the winner, Richard Goodall!
Over the last few months, fans of the NBC competition series have tuned in to see which incredible act would be the one to claim it all. Week after week, folks watched Richard charm audiences and receive major recognition, with each performance he gave bringing something unique to the table. What’s more, the audiences and judges (Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel) were wowed by the former janitor’s singing voice, with comments running rampant about how he deserved to be the top contestant of the season.
“The winner of #AGT is revealed in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 …,” read the caption on Instagram shortly after the announcement was revealed live on television.
Upon seeing the news of Richard’s win, fans took to the comments section to announce how thrilled they were to see him take home the title.
“An amazing and humble person won! Janitor to millionaire. What an awesome story,” one person wrote. “WE GOT THE GOOD ENDING 🙌 SO WELL DESERVED FROM THE VERY START,” another agreed. “OMG!!! 🔥❤️👏 This is amazing! Congratulations Richard!!! So happy for your win! 👏👏👏,” a different person added.
While many were ecstatic to see Richard emerge as the winner, some viewers were devastated about Roni Sagi and Rhythm taking second place in the competition.
“Omg 😢😢😢😢 Rhythm was the best,” one person penned. “Really voted for Roni and Rhythm.. truly wanted them to win.. felt bad. ❤️,” another noted.
Nonetheless, Richard is elated to have even been a participant on America’s Got Talent season 19. As he told People on September 24, he never envisioned something like this could happen to him.
