Caitlin Clark is officially playoff-bound in her WNBA rookie season with the Indiana Fever.

With just one game remaining in the regular season, the Fever have locked up the sixth seed in the playoffs and, barring a miracle, will be playing the three-seed Connecticut Sun starting this upcoming Sunday, September 22.

It’s been a pretty incredible first year for the former Iowa Hawkeyes star. She became the only rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double (twice), has the most assists in a season and the most points scored by a rookie.

On Monday, Clark took to Instagram to make a post highlighting her first year as a professional. Each photo includes herself on the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

“Indy,” Clark captioned her post with a location pin emoji and fire emoji.

Gabbie Marshall, who played with Clark at Iowa from 2019-2024, commented on the post with a hint that the two will reunite in the near future.

“Can’t wait to see you soon,” Marshall wrote with a heart emoji.

Marshall started alongside Clark and Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin for the majority of her college career. In 166 games, she averaged 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game. She helped lead the Hawkeyes to two straight National Championship appearances in 2023 and 2024, falling just short in both.

It is unclear if Marshall and Clark are just linking up because they are friends or if they have something big in store. But any meeting between the two will have Iowa and Indiana fans excited.
