If there’s one thing Jonathan Owens loves besides football, it’s showing up to cheer for his wife, Simone Biles. With the Olympian’s whole GOAT contingent deciding to join Biles at the Bears vs Rams game earlier today, it was only appropriate for Owens to rush to the United Center right after his team’s victory to make sure the gymnasts had something to smile about. And he didn’t disappoint.

Earlier in the day, Biles was spotted at the Soldier Field sporting a dark blue knitted sweater with BEARS written on the front. She was accompanied by many stars from her GOAT squad, who also took to social media to note their excitement to watch the high-octane football match where the Bears defeated the LA Rams 24-18.

The 2024 Olympic team medalist Fred Richard posted a picture of himself along with Biles, Jordan Chiles, and others on Instagram, noting that it was just a “Chicago thing” to attend the game. In his IG update, Chiles was the only other one who was wearing Bears merch, while others decided to keep things fashionably casual. Yul Moldauer also posted a story showing him hanging out with his buddies at the game.

While Simone Biles might have redeemed herself in the eyes of the Chicago football fans, Owens was determined to ensure that his beau had enough cheering from the stands when Biles took to the stage later. In his recent Instagram story, the football safety shared a brief clip from the stands as Biles led the Gold Over America Tour in Chicago. Being introduced by rapping icon Snoop Dogg, the Texan was about to make her entrance, and Owens’ social media update highlighted the fan frenzy as they waited to be overwhelmed.

Just moments later, Simone Biles made her entrance clad in a golden uniform, and the crowd went nuts. In a later Instagram story, Owens shared the incredible moment as Simone strutted down the ramp on her way to the stage, reveling in the fans’ applause. Just yesterday, Owens made his way to Milwaukee, a day before his match, to catch a glimpse of his wife as she prepared for the show at the Finserv Forum. And now, it looks like the NFL celebrity once again made sure to make the most of the opportunity before they had to leave each other’s embrace.

Both the athletes have an incredibly packed schedule, which often makes it difficult for them to spend time together. However, they also try to wiggle out time from their strenuous program as much as possible, and tonight’s scenes proved their love once again.

The Xfinity US Gymnastic Championships were held in Texas earlier this year at a time when Biles and Owens were already staying away from each other. However, the football safety caught a last-minute flight to the event to support his wife, who was en route to compensate for her Olympic turmoil from three years ago.

Braving adverse weather, Jonathan  Owens showed up and later took to social media to write, “I love being able to watch you go out there and do your thing. I’m here with you every step of the way, wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Naturally, fans went haywire seeing the deep connection between the two. But Owens’ determination to stand by his wife didn’t end at the Dickies Arena.

Despite this being his first season with the Bears, after a year with the Green Bay Packers, Jonathan Owens managed to get himself leave approval from his new squad to cheer for Biles as she took over Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. On the other hand, Simone Biles also seldom fails to hit the stands to watch his beloved score monumental touchdowns and lead his squad to emphatic victories.

Her latest attendance at the Bears vs Rams game also drew a lot of attention, as both the official account of the Chicago team as well as the USA Gymnastics posted photos and videos of the triumphant gymnasts at tonight’s game. While their long-distance love life can sometimes make things difficult, they still manage to rise above the challenges and profess their love with heartwarming gestures for each other.
