Jay-Z ‘Heartbroken’ for Beyoncé and Kids While Denying ‘Heinous’ Allegations Against Him

Following the recent allegations surrounding various forms of assault that were filed against the American rapper Sean Combs — better known as Diddy — Jay-Z has also received similar accusations in a suit filed on Sunday.

The accuser, who chose to go by ‘Jane Doe,’ claims the two assaulted her at the MTV Music Awards afterparty in 2000 at the age of 13. Jay-Z has since strongly denied these allegations.

The rapper accused Doe’s lawyer of blackmail

Jay-Z — real name Shawn Carter — accused Jane Doe’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, of blackmail in a statement he released defending his position against the lawyer’s claims.

The statement addressing the allegations was released on Roc Nation’s X/Twitter account. Roc Nation is Jay-Z’s company.

Jay-Z was worried about his children

The 55-year-old rapper wrote, “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people. I mourn yet another loss of innocence.”

The American rapper called it malice

In his statement, Carter proceeded to explain his worry regarding what his children will have to learn.

He said, “Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.”

The rapper wrote in support of victims

Carter wrote about his support to victims of assault, saying, “My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.”

The lawyer responded to Carter’s statement

Doe’s lawyer, Buzbee, spoke to Sky News in response to Carter’s statement about his client’s claims, saying, “The pleading speaks for itself. This is a very serious matter that will be litigated in court.”

The lawyer also took to X/Twitter, writing that Carter had previously sued him and his firm then denied it.

The lawyer also wrote a response online

On the online platform X/Twitter, Buzbee wrote, “Regarding the Jay-Z case and his efforts to silence my clients: Mr Carter previously denied being the one who sued me and my firm. He filed his frivolous case under a pseudonym.”

Buzbee pointed out that Doe never asked for money

Buzbee responded to Carter’s claim that the lawyers and Doe are looking for financial gain.

He wrote, “What he [Carter] fails to say in his recent statement is my firm sent his lawyer a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim and that victim never demanded a penny from him.”

The lawyer stated the plaintiff only sought mediation

Buzbee continued his statement, saying, “Instead, she only sought a confidential mediation. Since I sent the letter on her behalf, Mr Carter has not only sued me, but he has tried to bully and harass me and this plaintiff.”

“His conduct has had the opposite impact. She is emboldened. I’m very proud of her resolve,” the lawyer said about his client.

Buzzbee wants to settle the dispute in court

The lawyer ended his response statement, writing, “As far as the allegations in the complaint filed, we will let the filing speak for itself and will litigate the facts in court, not in the media.’

While Carter denied all claims against him, the plaintiff and her lawyer have stood their ground.

Combs’ lawyer has also disapproved of the allegations

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, another rapper who is also involved in this case, has also had his legal representatives deny these allegations.

They told Metro that the lawsuits against Combs are “shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them.”
