Steph Curry received a big ovation from fans at Stan Sheriff Center in Hawaii. Ahead of the preseason game between the LA Clippers and the Golden State Warriors, Curry entered the arena and the fans seemed immediately hyped up by the sight of the NBA superstar.

However, amidst all the cheering of the fans, it was James Harden who caught the attention of the cameraman. In a video posted on X, when Curry was entering the court, Harden joined the cheering of the fans.

Along with fans in the stands, Harden stopped shooting the ball and started shouting “Curryyyyyyyy.” It obviously caught the attention of the Warriors star who looked at the Clippers guard and passed a smile towards him.

Take a look at the hilarious exchange between Curry and Harden.

Both stars are in their 16th season in the NBA. They were both part of the same 2009 NBA Draft class. While Harden was selected No. 3 overall by the OKC Thunder, Curry was selected No. 7 overall by the Warriors.

Ahead of the tip-off, both stars acknowledged each other on the court. In a video by the Clippers on their social media, Curry and Harden were seen hugging each other.

Steph Curry has established himself among the greatest players to ever touch a basketball. The Warriors star has been nothing less than exceptional throughout his career, winning multiple MVPs and titles.

Earlier in June this year, Curry was on the “Heat Check” podcast with his brother Seth Curry and their father Dell Curry. During the episode, Curry was asked to name the top-five greatest players of his generation.

“Mine is kind of split like right on a changing of the guard,” Curry said. “Because you could say Kobe and Tim Duncan in the first four years of my career, so I’m going to exclude that. I’m gonna go from basically 2009-2023 right now.”

“LeBron, KD, Kawhi – I know, every time you do this you’re going to miss somebody… Obviously, myself… I’m gonna say James [Harden].”

It is obvious to think of the missing names on Curry’s list. Players like Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, and Carmelo Anthony may very well deserve the spot on the list. However, it is also hard to argue against Steph Curry’s list.

Steph has had some fierce competition against James Harden and LeBron James in his career. He and Harden constantly met each other in the Western Conference playoffs. Moreover, Steph Curry has four NBA Finals appearances against LeBron.
