However, her celebrations were briefly marred by an unfortunate incident. In a recent TikTok video, Biles revealed that she was the target of a price gouging scam at a nightclub in Paris.
Following her participation in the Closing Ceremony, Biles decided to enjoy a night out in the French capital. When it came to ordering drinks, she encountered a shocking surprise. “You guys, this club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne,” Biles exclaimed in her video. “Like, are you insane?”
The exorbitant price tag left Biles astounded and amused at the same time. “Obviously, I didn’t buy it, but why would you even try to play me like that?” she questioned. “Like, that’s wild.” The incident highlights the potential for scams and price gouging, even in popular tourist destinations like Paris.
