As family tensions escalated, the Daily Mail reported on January 8th (local time) that Brooklyn (26) and his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, exchanged letters in the summer of 2025, but only through each side’s legal teams.

Brooklyn Beckham has no interest in reconciliation.

Brooklyn reportedly said he didn’t want his parents to contact him directly, nor did he want them to make public statements about him on social media; they should only contact him through his lawyer.

According to sources, Brooklyn made this request after feeling offended by information about his wife, Nicola Peltz, which implied that she controlled him excessively, like a “hostage.”

In December 2025, Cruz, the 20-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, stated that Brooklyn had blocked both him and his parents on Instagram, while also refuting rumors that David and Victoria Beckham were the ones who blocked Brooklyn.

“That’s not true. My parents would never unfollow their son. Let’s clarify the facts. They woke up and found out they were blocked, just like me,” Cruz wrote.

Although Brooklyn didn’t appear in David Beckham’s 2025 year-end photo series on Instagram, which included all his other children—Crucia, Romeo (23), and Harper (14)—the football star still posted a photo with his eldest son on Instagram Story that same day.

David Beckham wrote that he is grateful to his family and expressed his love for all four of his children. “You are my life. I love you all,” the former football star expressed.

Victoria Beckham then reposted her husband’s Instagram Story featuring Brooklyn.

Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, reignited rumors of a rift with the Beckham family in May when they did not attend David’s 50th birthday party.

David and Victoria Beckham were absent when Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz renewed their marriage vows in August.

In October 2025, a source told Us Weekly that Brooklyn had no interest in reconciling with the Beckham family after their apparent conflict last year.

The source said he is currently focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with his wife.
