Internet Sleuths Go Wild: Taylor Swift’s Secret Song About Blake Lively’s Destroyed Friendship Exposed [PHOTO]
Swift appears to finally reveal her true feelings about Blake Lively in her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
Swift is the queen of dropping Easter eggs in her work, so it’s no wonder her newest project is buzzing on social media.
It all started with her fan base being convinced that “Actually Romantic” is written about Charli xcx.
“I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave,” Swift said at the song’s beginning.
“High-fived my ex and then you said you’re glad he ghosted me / Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face.” Those words made fans think Swift referenced Charli’s 2024 track “Sympathy Is a Knife.”
Next up on Swift’s apparent hit list was a reference to Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicoe.
The line fans believe is about Kelce’s ex-girlfriend: “You couldn’t understand it, why you feltalone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
The pop star was just getting started.
What the Internet Thinks Taylor Swift Said About Blake Lively
Taylor Swift most certainly wanted nothing to do with what Blake Lively has going on amid her lawsuit and legal battle against It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni.
A report earlier this year stated the pop star was going to be taking a step back from their friendship. In his $400 million lawsuit, Baldoni said Taylor Swift showed up and made him feel like he ‘needed to comply with Blake’s direction for the script.’
Fast forward to October, and Swift fans have been convinced that “Ruin the Friendship” is about her ex-bestie, Blake Lively.
“Taylor Swift’s ruin the friendship has to be about Blake Lively 😅,” one fan said while highlighting the track.
