It seems that athletic talent runs in the Mahomes family, as Patrick Mahomes‘ one-year-old son, Bronze, is already showing a budding interest in sports. While the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is focused on leading his team to another potential Super Bowl victory, his young son is making his own moves with a newfound love for golf.

Brittany Mahomes has shared a snapshot of Bronze holding a golf club with pride, captioning the moment, “He’s official now.” Though it’s far too early to know what sport Bronze will pursue, it’s clear that the Mahomes family passion for athletics is starting early. Brittany has also highlighted her son’s growing excitement for basketball.

During an NCAA game between the Oregon Ducks and South Carolina Gamecocks, Bronze couldn’t contain his joy as he threw his arms up, mimicking the players’ movements. Brittany shared this adorable moment with the caption, “This kid loves ball,” hinting at his early interest in various sports.

“Bronze is definitely a sports guy,” his mother said. “You give him any type of ball, and he will have the time of his life. He loves basketball. He loves football.”

Patrick Mahomes himself shared another fun moment where Bronze attempted a small three-pointer at home, showing the early signs of his dad’s famous throwing arm.

Patrick proudly shouted, “Oh! Three!” as he watched his son play. With a father like Patrick, who has already led the Chiefs to multiple Super Bowl victories, and a grandfather like Pat Mahomes, who enjoyed a long career as an MLB pitcher, Bronze is growing up surrounded by athletic excellence.

The sports legacy doesn’t stop there-Bronze‘s mother, Brittany, was also an accomplished soccer player. After scoring 34 goals in college, she went on to play professionally in Iceland before retiring in 2017. Brittany now co-owns the Kansas City Current women’s soccer team, further embedding sports into the Mahomes household.
