Eagle-eyed fans have noticed a discrepancy in one of Taylor Swift‘s latest behind-the-scenes clips previously featuring a photo of her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

In the BTS clips from her “Bejeweled” music video, Swift, 35, inadvertently flashed her phone background to the camera, revealing a lock screen picture of her snuggling up with Alwyn.

But just days after posting the video on YouTube, fans noticed that it has since been altered, with Swift’s phone background now appearing to be blurred out to conceal the loved-up photo with Alwyn, 33—and her fans “don’t blame her.”

“She said DONT BRING UP MY PAST,” one fan wrote in the singer’s defense on Instagram. Another commenter wrote, “I dont blame her, people wont shut up about Joe.”

Swift dated the English actor for six years before news of their split became public in 2023. The “So High School” songstress has since moved on with her new boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Unlike her current romance, Swift kept much of her relationship with Alwyn out of the public eye, and the details and exact timeline for their break up are still unclear to her fans.

Aside from fans assuming Swift doesn’t want to drudge up the past, others also noted that blurring out her personal phone background is just a basic way of protecting her privacy.

“The reason they go so far as to blur out her wallpaper says a lot about how far she’s willing to go to not have her privacy taken,” one person wrote, while another added, “I mean our girl deserves some privacy.”
