Travis Kelce Reveals His Secret Love of “Gossip Girl”: ‘It’s Awesome’
Hey, Upper East Siders, Travis Kelce just revealed he’s a Gossip Girlfan!
Speaking on the Wednesday, Sept. 25, episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, spoke with his brother Jason Kelce about their favorite TV shows.
“I used to not tell everybody that I watched Gossip Girl growing up,” Travis said to which Jason, 36, replied, “You watched Gossip Girl?”
“It’s so good though,” Travis continued. “Dude, if you watched it, you could get in deep.”
Jason then asked, “Are you talking about Gilmore Girls, what show is Gossip Girl?”
“No, Gossip Girl,” Travis replied as he tried to recall the names of the cast, ”Chace Crawford, Blake Lively.”
Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift is friends with Lively — who played the role of Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl.

“I mean, it’s awesome,” he added. “It’s like a New York high school show with a lot of drama and basically everybody gossiping and talking s— on each other, which leads me to my new favorite show out right now and it’s Traitors,“Travis said of the Peacock reality series.
Jason then revealed that he’s a fan of the reality series, too, noting that he watched it with their mom Donna and uncle Don.
“Because they were in town last week after the Monday night game,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center said. “We watched season one, I haven’t seen season two yet.”
“I didn’t even watch season one, I just went straight to season two,” Travis said before Jason added, “I’m excited after your recommendation.”
TheTraitors is a competition series where contestants compete in a variety of challenges and missions together. However, they are unaware of who the traitors trying to sabotage their efforts to win the cash prize are.
“So I’ve played that game, I actually played that game climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, so I’m familiar with it,” Jason said. “It wasn’t called traitors, it was called the mafia but it’s the same premise.”
Explaining the concept of the game, he added, “It is the group’s job to find out which people are the bad guys or the traitors in this show.”
“You do that by playing mind games, observing people’s body language, accusing people and slowly you kind of reveal information,” Jason continued. “Some people are good at lying and some people suck at lying.”
“Every time a new season comes out we sit down and watch that, I mean it’s fantastic,” he said before adding that he also loved the British game show Taskmaster.
