The war between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens is far from over, as it took a massive twist at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024. The American Nightmare managed to retain his title after a grueling battle in the main event. However, after the match, The Prizefighter took out Rhodes with a Package Piledriver, leaving him motionless in the squared circle.

After Owens grabbed the Winged Eagle Championship and rushed backstage, infuriated CCO Triple H had a heated altercation with KO on the ramp; The Game even pushed the 40-year-old. This has left fans with exciting possibilities that may transpire from here.

One of the most believable hypothetical scenarios that may occur following Kevin Owens’ injury to two major stars and his misbehavior with the CCO Triple H is that The Game could announce he had to fire Owens for his problematic behavior.

In a sensational twist, WWE legend The Rock, now 52, could use his veto power as a Board Member of TKO Group to overturn Triple H’s decision and save Kevin Owens from being fired, allowing him to retain the Winged Eagle belt.

During the WrestleMania XL press conference, fans witnessed the tension between Triple H and The Rock escalating as he pushed to overrule Hunter’s orders. This stress could ultimately lead to a storyline between these two icons.

Former WWE star suggested that The Rock might misuse his powers to kick out Triple H

While speaking on The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show on Backstage Pass, former WWE star Jonathan Coachman shared his thoughts on The Rock’s Final Boss character and speculated that by misusing his power as a Board Member of the TKO Group, he might expel Triple H.

“I want fans to just look back over the last eight months and look at the documentary that came out after WrestleMania. It was delayed too much because The Rock had to have full editing control, and I love him. My relationship with The Rock is a friendly talent relationship. It’s not ‘I am an executive. I’m sitting in a boardroom with him.’ I think because of all the brands he has built, he can be ruthless. It’s Rock first, his company first, and then everybody else second. He won’t blink an eye at steamrolling Triple H straight out of the building if this means they can head that way,” Coachman said.

However, this scenario is speculative at the moment. It remains to be seen what steps Triple H will take after Owens has crossed the line multiple times in the recent past on the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown.
