Left in the Forest After Losing a Leg, This Dog Found Strength and Love
Deep in a remote forest, hidden from the world, a dog with a severe injury was barely holding on.
I found him by accident two months ago during a trip with friends. We still don’t know how he ended up there, whether he got lost or was heartlessly abandoned.
But the condition he was in left no doubt—he had suffered greatly.
He lay still among the trees, his eyes filled with pain and a quiet sense of giving up.
One of his front legs had been brutally severed, and what was once a lively gaze had faded into a look of exhaustion and sorrow.
Seeing him like that, we knew we couldn’t walk away. Despite his size and the rugged terrain, my friend and I decided to carry him to safety.
It was no easy task—every step down the mountain tested our strength and commitment. But we kept going, driven by the hope that he could be saved.
When we reached the veterinary hospital, we were drained. The dog was immediately taken in by the medical team.
Though his missing leg couldn’t be replaced, the vets reassured us he could still live a happy life on three legs.

They cleaned and bandaged his wounds with gentle care, treating not just his injuries but the trauma he’d endured.
After he was discharged, he joined our rescue group. Despite everything he’d been through, he welcomed affection and companionship.
He now enjoys simple moments—meals, attention, and the comfort of being safe.
Even with his physical limitations, he moves with surprising ease, a living example of how care and kindness can restore even the most broken spirits.
