X users were unhappy with the allegedly sexual innuendo of his statement. Swift’s sign-off was a reference to Trump’s VP running mate, JD Vance, who in 2022 said that the Democrats were led by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made.”
