The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0, after yet another close win over the Atlanta Falcons.
On Wednesday, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, head coach Andy Reid and running back Kareem Hunt are set to speak with reporters as the team prepares for its first Divisional game.
In Week 4, the back-to-back Super Bowl champs are going on the road to take on the Los Angeles Chargers at 3:25 p.m. this Sunday.
While Kansas City has been dealt a few injuries to start the year, the Chiefs managed to come out relatively healthy from Sunday Night Football.
The same can’t be said for the Chargers, who are dealing with injuries to four starters after Sunday’s 20-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The biggest concerns are on offense. Quarterback Justin Herbert continues to be hampered by a high right ankle sprain and may not practice this week. If Herbert can play, it will be without both starting offensive tackles, Joe Alt and Rashaun Slater.
Edge rusher Joey Bosa also aggravated a nagging hip issue on the first drive and did not return. On top of that, Safety Derwin James Jr. was suspended one game by the NFL for making repeated hits to his opponents’ heads.
