Patrick Mahomes Issues Taylor Swift a Strict Warning to Stay Away from His Pregnant Wife

Yesterday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs barely got out of Kansas City with a 26-25 victory with a Harrison Butker field goal as time expired.

The hard-fought win drops the Bengals to 0-2, but the focus for the Chiefs this week has shifted to their All-Pro tight end, Travis Kelce, who has been virtually invisible in their first two games this season.

Kelce made history yesterday when he broke his 114-game streak of at least three catches in a game. This streak, the longest in NFL history, had been ongoing since September 2018 and dates back to the second game of Patrick Mahomes’s career.

On “First Take” this morning, Stephen A. Smith commented that “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend was stinking up the joint,” in reference to Kelce’s recent performance.

“I love my brother from another mother, Travis Kelce, but we saw more of Taylor Swift than we saw of Travis Kelce yesterday,” Smith said on “First Take.” “On a Sunday afternoon, any other time that is applicable, but that ain’t supposed to happen yesterday.

You’re supposed to see more of Travis Kelce. You gotta get it going, bro. You’ve got 39 receiving yards in the first two games. C’mon now, football season is here. Honeymoon’s over, let’s handle our business.”

Smith highlighted the lack of production from Kelce and wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who combined for just 22 yards and three catches. That’s not a stat line that typically leads to a win, especially in a game against a rival like the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs still have time to find their rhythm, but if they hope to win their third straight championship, they’ll need Kelce to figure out what has him slumping at the start of this season.

The Chiefs will face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night, and perhaps Kelce can find his rhythm in Week Three. Check out what Smith had to say about Kansas City on “First Take” this morning below.
