“BREAKING: Massive Development in D4vd Case – House Searched by Police”
In a major turning point in the investigation surrounding rising music star D4vd (real name David Anthony Burke), Los Angeles police have searched a residence linked to the singer, intensifying speculation about his potential involvement in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas. This latest development has sent shockwaves through fans and the media, especially as new pieces of potential evidence are beginning to surface.
On September 17, 2025, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant on a home located in the Hollywood Hills, a property reportedly rented by D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall. Though the lease is under Marshall’s name, sources close to the investigation confirmed that D4vd had been frequently staying at the house. In fact, various videos and social media posts appear to show the artist inside the very same home, further tying him to the location.
During the search, police seized a computer and multiple electronic devices, along with several bags of evidence. Forensic teams reportedly used luminol, a chemical used to detect blood traces, to inspect the floors, drains, and bathroom areas of the residence. Officers were also seen taking samples that may include fingerprints and hair, suggesting they were looking for biological connections between the house and the body discovered earlier this month.
That body—confirmed to be Celeste Rivas—was found in the frunk (front trunk) of a Tesla registered to D4vd. The car had been sitting in a Hollywood tow yard for months, after being impounded for unpaid tickets. A strong odor coming from the vehicle led employees to open it, only to find the decomposed remains of the missing teen. Celeste had reportedly vanished in April 2024, and her disappearance went largely unnoticed by the public until the gruesome discovery on September 8, 2025.
While no charges have been filed and D4vd has not been named an official suspect, the growing list of circumstantial evidence has drawn intense public scrutiny. Notably, fans discovered that both Celeste and D4vd appeared to have matching tattoos that say “Shhh…” on their index fingers. Adding to the mystery, a leaked unreleased song titled “Celeste” has surfaced online, with lyrics that seem eerily specific. In addition, an old music video by D4vd, titled “One More Dance”, shows scenes of a body being placed into the trunk of a car—an artistic parallel too close for comfort, according to many.
As the investigation deepens, D4vd has canceled upcoming performances and withdrawn from public appearances. His management team has stated that he is cooperating with authorities, though no official statement has been made directly by the artist.
With the police now turning their focus to physical evidence from the Hollywood Hills home, the public is left with more questions than answers. Was Celeste ever in that house? Could key forensic evidence be recovered? And most importantly—will this search bring the investigation one step closer to justice?
The case continues to evolve rapidly, and all eyes remain on what comes next.
