Even elder sister, Amirah O’Neal, dropped the Gator mascot GIF to support this decision. Me’Arah’s first season had expectations as any of Shaq’s children would have. But also because of the Lakers legend’s previous statement, it added more pressure.
“She works out with my sons and I think it’s fair to say, once day, if she continues, Me’Arah will be the best women’s basketball player ever.” In the first season, Meezy could only score 4.8 points per game and manage 8 starts from 35 games with an average of 13.6 minutes per game.
