Hostage negotiators descended on Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona home on Wednesday as the investigation into the 84-year-old’s abduction continued for a fourth consecutive day.
The Daily Mail revealed how Nancy, 84, was abducted from her $1 million home late Saturday or early Sunday, according to police.
Authorities confirmed they believe she is still alive despite having no suspects identified on Wednesday.
‘We have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here,’ Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a new interview with NBC’s Liz Kreutz. ‘She’s present. She’s alive, and we want to save her.’
Later on Wednesday, the Today Show host asked her mother’s captors to provide proof that she is a live in a heartbreaking plea on Instagram.
President Trump appealed for the return of Guthrie’s mother as authorities frantically search for her, fearing she may not survive without vital medication she needs to take daily.
