Camryn Grimes Says Goodbye to Y&R—Here’s Why She’s Stepping Away from the Show

The Young and the Restless’ Camryn Grimes shares family pride in rare post
Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland, The Young and the Restless) took to social media to share a rare and emotional post about her family.
The actress, who is usually private when it comes to her personal life, opened up about her brother, Parker, and his accomplishments.
Camryn posted a photo of Parker with the caption:
“This is my brother. He’s an actor, a good one. He’s a singer, and he’s funny, one of the funniest people I know. And he is kind. He is so, so kind. And today he’s releasing his first single. I am so incredibly proud of him. I don’t talk about my family much on here, but they are everything to me. I’m one of seven, and it’s chaos, and it’s loud, and it’s sometimes hard, but it’s ours. They are my heart and soul, and I would be nothing without them.”
She then added:
“So please, go check out my baby bro’s new single ‘Man Like You’ available today.”
Fans were quick to show their support for Parker and praised Camryn for celebrating her family so openly. Many commented about how touching it was to see her express such love and pride.
Camryn, who has been playing Mariah Copeland on The Young and the Restless since 2014 (and previously portrayed Cassie Newman from 1997 until the character’s death in 2005), is no stranger to sharing heartfelt moments with fans — but this one stood out as particularly personal.
