You know how the Holidays are… people’s minds are elsewhere, they’re putting in minimal effort and just trying to enjoy the company of friends and family.
Well… evidently no one told Leafs defenseman Chris Tanev to chill.
The veteran blueliner is, of course, notorious for his shot blocking prowess but today he took things to a new level. He blocked a shot… with his face. The result was a mouthful of bloody chiclets that he spit out into his hand… all while he skated off the ice on his own power.
