Entering his 22nd NBA season, future Hall of Famer LeBron James is embarking on a historic and emotional year with the Los Angeles Lakers as he prepares to share the court with his son, Bronny, who was drafted 55th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft after one season at USC.
The Lakers held their media day on Monday, filled with interviews, photos, and memorable moments among teammates as they gear up for the upcoming season. LeBron and Bronny captured attention on social media with their hilarious and heartwarming interactions throughout the day.
On Tuesday, James shared a video on his Instagram, compiling all the moments he spent with his son and teammates during media day, along with a heartfelt admission.

This marks the first time in NBA history that a father and son will share the court together, and the fact that they will do so as teammates is even more remarkable.
While expectations suggest that Bronny will spend some time in the G-League during his rookie season, he is anticipated to play alongside his dad on opening night or early in the season, also receiving plenty of opportunities with the Lakers’ main roster.
