According to Patrick Mahomes, his wife Brittany is expecting their third child “any day now,” and he hopes for a “bye week” delivery
In an interview clip posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Netflix on Wednesday, Dec. 25, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, revealed that Brittany, also 29, is due “any day now.”
The couple is already parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Bronze, 2, and Patrick notes that the added stress of this NFL season has been hard on the expecting mother.

He adds that the couple is hoping the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 lands “on a bye week” when the Chiefs aren’t playing, “and then everything will work out perfectly.”
In an interview with Sports Center during his Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mahomes still had his eye on the prize: his third 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦.

“I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦,” he said in a clip shared on Instagram by the outlet. “So we got that number one seed.”
Resharing Patrick’s statement on her Instagram Stories, Brittany praised her husband for “always keeping his promises.”
On Wednesday, Dec. 25, the Kansas City Current co-owner posted a series of snaps to her Instagram Stories from her Christmas celebration spent with Sterling and Bronze. The proud mom documented her morning at home baking and watching Patrick play on TV.
