But when the Soldier Stadium hosted the LA Rams this Sunday, it seemed to be in good spirits, even to show its love for Biles. Seeing her in the stands at their matches and exhibiting Jonathan Owens’ Green Bay Packers days wasn’t the best scene as a football fan, but she’s on her way to their good books.

The Bears defeated the Rams 24-18 on September 29, and the Olympian’s husband Jonathan Owens was a centerpiece to the victory. Maybe it was the cumulative effect that Simone’s right choice of fashion also made fans in Chicago go ga-ga. Sporting a Bears sweater, Simone looked suave and fans immediately joined hands to praise her for her fashion choice. The official NFL Instagram account shared snippets of the 7x Olympic gold medalist gymnast’s presence at the game.

Captioned, “The 11-time Olympic medalist in the building,” the September 29 IG post made it clear that Biles’ attendance was a special moment. Simone Biles was spotted wearing a deep blue knitted sweater, with BEARS written in pristine white on the front. In early September, Simone was in the middle of a feud when her Jonathan Owens jacket made fans fume. The jacket showed Owens in a Packers jersey and fans weren’t having any of it. But this time, things were different, and Chicago loyalists wanted her to know that her today’s dress was a welcome move.

She was accompanied by her national teammates Joscelyn Roberson and Yul Moldauer, who even met up with Owens at the sideline, where the NFL star shared a hug with Biles before the start of the match. Fred Richard also shared on social media photos of the entire gang posing for the camera. While Jordan Chiles seems to be the only other person with Bears merch on, others look just as ramp-worthy.

In the post’s comment section, Bears connoisseurs flocked to make their sentiments heard. Ash wrote, “OK, MS. BILES WITH THE PROPER FIT!!!!!” as the fan mirrored the ecstatic feeling of Chicago camp. “Simone Biles at Soldier Field to support her husband, Jonathan Owens,” says the first photo in the post, and more Bears fans seem to be supporting the Olympic icon in return.

Earlier this year, a fiasco ensued when the WCC gymnast showed up in a Green Bay Packers jacket at a Bears match. However, Biles looked tired of all the criticism coming her way and urged fans to cut her some slack instead. On the other hand, Chicago fans claimed that she should understand where they’re coming from and in turn opined that she should do better when it comes to picking her outfits. But now, as Biles seems to have finally found the correct stripes, Bears fans are looking to set things right as well.

Linda also proclaimed her love for the person who has brought the USA countless gold medals from international stages and went on to note how her outfit of the day was spot on. “Love her game day outfit,” commented the fan, highlighting how Biles is making up for ticking off Bears fans previously.

“Finally she’s wearing some bear gear,” said Zex on X. “Love the boots!!” gushed Eleanor as the fan brought attention to the Tara Davis-Woodhall-inspired footgear that Biles sported at the match today. The white boots turned a lot of heads at the Bears’ home ground, and another fan noted, “Those boots are iconic.”

Another fan-run page thinks Biles finally got the message about what the fans want and decided to cater to their demands instead of turning a deaf ear to the clamor. “Alright she got the message no more Packers gear even though yes I know she was just showing her boo love (and probably while a new Bears one was being made),” joked the fan account in the comment section of the Chicago Bears X post.
