Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the top vote-getter for the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games.
While the full Pro Bowl rosters won’t be announced until Thursday, the NFL has revealed which five players received the most votes, and Kelce topped them all with 252,200.

Kelce currently ranks third among all tight ends in receptions (97), and fifth in receiving yards (823). That will likely be his final stat line on the season as he is expected to sit out in Week 18’s matchup against the Denver Broncos as the Chiefs have the No. 1 seed in the AFC locked up.
Pro Bowl voting is determined by three demographics – fans, players, and coaches. With the respect he has built among players and coaches, it’s likely that most of them voted for Kelce. It’s also safe to say that Kelce dominated the fan vote not only due to his play on the field, but his mainstream media accomplishments off the field.
Over the past few years, Kelce has appeared on television programs such as “Saturday Night Live” and “Grotesquerie.” He is also set to appear in the highly-anticipated “Happy Gilmore 2.” However, the biggest reason for the number of Pro Bowl votes he received can very plausibly be attributed to his relationship with music icon Taylor Swift.
There’s no doubt that Kelce is still playing at a high level and is a future Hall-of-Famer, but strictly based off a football standpoint, one would think the top vote-getter would be an MVP candidate such as quarterbacks Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, or even running back Saquon Barkley. There’s no doubt that the Swifties showed up in a big way for Kelce.
Chiefs fans and Swifties alike will hope that Kelce does not participate in the Pro Bowl Games for a third consecutive year due to preparing to play in the Super Bowl.
