Patrick Mahomes just added one more member to his huddle.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife Brittany announced the birth of their third child, Golden Raye Mahomes, on Jan. 12, 2025.

The couple already has two children, Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. The new baby’s name follows the ongoing theme of the Mahomes clan, with the children named after precious metals.

Patrick was more motivated than ever to get the bye week for the Chiefs this postseason to be there for his family without worrying.

He even told his wife that he would get that No. 1 seed for her.

“I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the No. 1 seed so we can go have that baby,” Patrick said after defeating the Steelers to clinch the top seed in the AFC. “So we got the one seed.”

And through this pregnancy, Patrick has not made things easy for his wife because of all the one-score games the Chiefs’ have been in.

“Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season,” Mahomes said with a laugh. “So, I gotta try to not put so much stress on her through these football games and get the bye.

But imagine what a start to 2025 it’ll be for Mahomes if he welcomes a new baby and gets another Super Bowl title for Kansas City.
