Tight end Travis Kelce spoke after the game about the team’s mentality and what it means to maintain their winning momentum, especially with Super Bowl aspirations on the horizon.

Kelce acknowledged the challenge that lies ahead, saying, “We found out last year that if we don’t have the right mindset going into this game, this team can beat us. That’s every team in the NFL, but this rivalry for the AFC West always makes it a big game.”

As one of the last undefeated teams in the league, the Chiefs are not looking past any opponent, and Kelce stressed the importance of preparation and focus, especially in divisional matchups. “Sure enough, the Raiders are always a tough opponent,” he said, underscoring the intensity of the AFC West rivalry.

Kelce also touched on his love for baseball after the game. Despite his hometown Cleveland Guardians being knocked out of the MLB playoffs by the New York Yankees, Kelce remains a fan of the sport. “I’m just a baseball fan at this point,” he said. “Cleveland has always been my go-to team, but I just appreciate baseball.” Kelce, a familiar face at past World Series games, isn’t sure if he’ll attend this year, but he still enjoys playoff baseball with his family and friends.
