Why Taylor Swift skipped Travis Kelce’s Chiefs game against 49ers in Super Bowl rematch

The Kansas City Chiefs headed to San Francisco for a Super Bowl rematch against the 49ers on Sunday, and the big question for many fans: ‘Will Taylor Swift be in attendance to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce?’

The Chiefs came into the matchup undefeated in their first five games, and looking to make it six, which all came after Kansas City won their second consecutive Super Bowl title this past February.

As for the Niners, they have had an up-and-down season so far, with three wins and three losses, while struggling with the injury bug.

Well, it turns out Swift did not show up at Levi’s Stadium to watch her man bang heads in a game involving two of the best teams in the NFL.

For those wondering why, it’s because the pop superstar is slated to hit the stage for her third of three concerts at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida as part of her Eras Tour.

Kelce and the Chiefs are not only trying to remain undefeated this season, they are also on a quest to win an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title this season.

The team’s star tight end arrived at Levi’s Stadium in a bright blue corduroy jacket and pants combination that he paired with a white t-shirt, which was topped off with cool, dark sunglasses.

From there, he made his way to the locker room to change into his familiar number 87 Chiefs uniform, and then hit the field to warm up for the matchup.

All this was going on while his lady was 3,000 miles away preparing for her third show in Miami later in the evening, which will be also serves as the third show of the last leg of her Eras Tour.

Kelce’s brother Jason was seen arriving at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium for the opening concert with his wife Kylie and their daughters Wyatt, five, and Elliotte, three – as well as his mom Donna.

After the Fortnight singer performs Sunday night she and her team will eventually head to New Orleans for three shows at Caesars Superdome on October 25-27.

From there she has three more stops in Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver, which serves as the final city of the Eras Tour that has now gone on for 17 months.

The couple have been making headlines all over the world ever since they became and item last year and the pop superstar showed up to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to watch him in Week 3 of the 2023 season.

In the end, Kelce would make four catches during Sunday’s game, as his Chiefs went on to keep their undefeated season alive by besting the Niners 28-18.

The game is actually one of three upcoming Chiefs games that Swift will definitely miss due to prior commitments.

The star football player started courting the singer-songwriter in late August 2023 and soon after in the early part of September they started dating and they’ve been a pop culture phenomenon ever since.
